Iron Dog Race 2007
Mark Niver Bio Ron Zugg Bio
Team #23, Mark Niver & Ron Zugg, ultimately had to scratch out of Nome this year (2007). The Farewell burn took
it's toll on many racers this year. Mark and Ron tried to repair the rear suspension
of there Yamaha's several times. They had run short on parts and were not able
to continue much past Nome.
The Yamaha's were a good machine this year, fuel mileage and ride was excellent.
But running 100 miles or better on no snow and frozen tussocks was a tough task.
Many teams fell to the conditions and the Yamaha's at least made it to Nome.
We want to THANK OUR SPONSORS for their support, the race would truly not
happen for anyone if not for them.
Well the Alaskan spirit runs with Team 23#, hard work and second effort is what it takes
to run the "Worlds Longest Toughest Snowmachine Race". You have not seen the last
of these two racers.
Our Love for the Iron Dog is as Big as Alaska
